KIDNEY TRANSPLANT

What is Kidney Transplant?

Kidney transplant is the process of replacing a person’s diseased or damaged kidney with a kidney from a healthy donor. Kidney transplantation is used as a treatment option for people with kidney failure.

Patients with chronic kidney failure may be able to undergo transplantation without undergoing any dialysis, provided that they are examined at the Nephrology outpatient clinic before dialysis and have suitable donors.
